Solution-dyed
What is solution-dye?

Dyeing processes are value-added treatments for most textile materials. A dyeing process is the interaction between a dye and a fibre, as well as the movement of dye into the internal part of the fibre. Usually fabrics are dyed after weaving, but this is not the case with Solution dye.

Solution-dyed fibers have color pigments added directly into the spin mass at the initial stage of production. This means that when the fiber is extruded from the spinnerettes, it is already the desired color.

Advantages

Solution-dyed fabrics have the advantage that the color penetrates the entire fibre, making the colors more intensive, more resistant to UV radiation and more durable.

Furthermore, the dyeing process for solution-dyed fabrics is water-free, as the pigments are added during yarn production. This results in less waste water and fewer chemicals are released, which makes the solution-dyeing process more environmentally friendly than the piece-dyeing process.
