PET Recycling

PET recycling makes it possible to reduce plastic waste, save resources and not have to resort to fossil raw materials. We use fabrics made from 100% recycled PET bottles, find out how here.

PET BOTTLES ARE COLLECTED

PET BOTTLES ARE COLLECTED

The empty PET plastic bottles are (mainly) collected in Taiwan and taken to the recycling plant. Our fabric suppliers Hoyu and Yaw Liamy obtain the yarn made from recycled PET bottles from the Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC). FENC recycles according to the Global recycling standard.

The pellets are melted again, drawn into long fibers and spun into yarn. The finished yarn is wound onto bobbins and transported to the weaving mill.
